Have a squeal from my fanbelt which disappears when a little water is applied. everything is lined up. Now planning a new belt
My elementary method of measuring the current belt with a piece of string measures 970mm.
I have an alternator installed. Most belts appear to be 900. anyone else have the same dilemma.
Or have I got my measurements wrong?
