Triumph TR6 1971
Description: This 1971 TR6 belonged to well respected Triumph enthusiast John Buck, who was a “driving force” in the TR Register QLD from 1970-2015. Originally from the US, the car was shipped from California to Australia in 1992 where it was converted to RHD with carburettors. John was the 4th owner having purchased in 1999, improving it with a 6th gear overdrive and investing in prestige b&w plates featuring the model and year. She was driven regularly on TR Register events throughout QLD and interstate, always proving comfortable and reliable. Following John’s passing in 2016 she has been in the loving care of his family, who has kept her safely garaged, serviced and in running order. John was meticulous with his care and love of TR’s and the ‘6 comes with an impressive ownership log and service history. Dressed in elegant British Racing Green with black leather interior, walnut dashboard, minimal rust, soft top and a thrumming engine that will instantly make you smile, she certainly is a beauty.
