I purchased the car in 1969 and used it as my everyday transport until 1975 when I got married.
The car was used progressively less over the following years until 2008 when I decided to have the car fully restored with a ground up restoration which was completed in early 2010. Geoff Kelly did the bulk of the work particularly all the mechanical work, suspension, brakes and the car interior and assembly with Andy Ansell doing the chassis and body restoration and the side curtains and seat upholstery in Connolly leather by a specialist.
Later in 2024 I had the Healey Factory upgrade the steering to rack & pinion and replace the starter motor with a high torque one.
