A group of members and a couple of stragglers attended a visit to Finches Restoration in Mount Barker. Finches are well known in the restoration business completing end to end restorations as well as replica jaguar SS100 vehicles which they have done for over 50 years.
The picture shows the group standing behind a vehicle about to be delivered to California. The story of their restorations was quite interesting and we spent 2 hours looking through the extensive workshops and eventually left the owner standing in the car park still talking as we had a lunch booking.
4 TR’s made the journey to the hills despite the threat of rain, a Lotus Elan and a VW bug.
