Odath purchased this car in May 2005 from Mike Read who had maintained it in excellent condition. He has since replaced the factory-fitted steel wheels with 60-spoke chrome wire wheels. The car had been previously owned by Jim Beswick who undertook a complete ground-up restoration of the car in 1995-96. Prior to Jim's ownership, the car had been stored on blocks for 25 years (1970-1995). The car was manufactured in the UK in December 1954 and delivered to a customer in Sydney in February 1955. |
