This must have been a record reassembly job from Thurday to Saturday!
Brian has since said that his neighbour (appropriately a builder) helped him!

1984
(out of sequence & the year needs checking and date discovered - well it was!! historian Pikey has discovered ALL)
A TR Register NSW Run to Kangaroo Valley - mid summer 12th Feb 1984.
The route went via the Railway Museum at Thirlmere, (where one Brian Richards performed in noteworthy fashion, by leading the group clambering
all over the exhibits). Ian Pennicuik and his powder blue 3A left the throng at Thirlmere, and Alan Bare had to leave early, but there remained 12 TRs
when the cars arrived at the Dam picnic area.

After a bit more forensic analysis, Pikey has clarified the cars from L to R as:                                    (you can check on a LARGER IMAGE)

Red TR3 (TRI956) Peter & Lynne Maxwell,    Red TR2 David Pryke (MJU818) later owned by Shirley Pitman,    BRG TR4A Lloyd Pryke, Powder Blue TR3A Alan Mitchell, Red TR3A (LAY513) Paul de Cortez Balague,   Red TR3A Brian Richards (TR916),   Powder Blue TR2 Ray Potbury,   Red TR3 (TR539) Graeme Coffin,    the car with a raised bonnet is BRG TR2 John McCormack ,
Red TR3A
(TR 183 or 103?) John Murn,   Dark Blue TR3A Ian Blyth (GBY229 ??)

You can see a LARGER PIC which makes it possible to identify some (I noted John Murn - beard & Shirley Pitman)

Brian noted that one car "died coming out of the dam site". The Red TR3A LAY513 was owned by Paul de Cortez Balague. His car suffered a total lack of oil pressure, and not even Brian could fix it. The passing truck belonged to a local "organisation" and after a night in a compound the car was delivered to Paul's place the following day.
