Originally signal red with red vynide upholstery and fawn hood, the car was imported into Melbourne. The build date was Thursday 3 July 1958 2-3pm. Victorian rego no. was originally AWH889 The car was found in a garage at Sommerville VIC in the mid 1970s and restored to race car by Warren Tice, Warrandyte VIC. It was purchased by John Pettit in QLD then by Geoff James in Jan 2000 and finally by Gavin November 2002 Gavin sold his previous TR3A to John Johnson and purchased this TR3A as a restoration project to go with his TR6 shown further down the page.

This was the 1975 TR6 which was used for Classic Rallying - now sold into W.A.

The following photos of the 1975 TR6 were taken in the October 2000 Alpine Classic Rally Yes ... it is possible to see the road at night!
