Ron has sent in a couple of additional photos of his TR on the remains of the old Brooklands circuit Aug 2019.
He says: "I took these pictures on the hottest day of the year 38 deg !! at Brooklands museum - see the banking in the background."
And here he is at speed - A picture of Blue actually moving taken on the banking at Brooklands this summer!
"I joined the TR Register (UK) in 1975 with my TR 5 - not that welcome then as it had windup Windows !!! I sold it sadly to Pete Buckles who was a founder member of the register and he had a shop locally - Cox and Buckles spares. He helped me a lot while I had the 5 as inevitably bits dropped off.
I had a gap out of the register and re joined determined to have another TR. Looked for a couple of years then this project came along and I don't regret it. 'Blue' is one of 963 registered for the road in the UK so getting to be Rare
