The photo above shows the TR at the Port Macquarie Concours in 2007. Kevin bought the car from Des Wilkinson SA, in May 03. It had been retired about 2000 with a broken crankshaft. The car was partly dismantled - motor in bits, gearbox out, diff out. It had a very good body, new front end, brakes, radiator (with new core), reasonable chrome wire wheels and the rest of the chrome has been re-done. By 2004 the car was completely restored, and has a "J" type overdrive, power brakes and rack & pinion steering. |
