Carl says: "My car came off the production line on Thursday 8th September 1960. I still have the original engine and gearbox in my car which I have owned for 36 years (purchased in 1982) - it was my first car. When purchased it was drivable but was in poor condition - terrible paint condition in white with Datsun seats. I believe it orginally came from Sydney - vic roads could only trace back to 1979 - I think it may have been raced due to the front end damage and modifications to the head? Car was painted in 2Pak original powder blue colour with the engine balanced and modified for unleaded petrol with Club 85mm pistons. Interior was restored back to the original condition with spin on alloys added". |
