Malcolm describes his TR:

"The car was first registered on 24 June 1960 in Edinburgh Scotland with Rego VWS 820.

It was purchased by Malcolm's father circa 1965 from a dealer in Elgin Scotland. She was fitted with a factory replacment engine before my father bought her.

The car was used by Malcolm's parents for their honeymoon in 1970 and was used less and less as the years progressed and condition deteriorated. 1995 was the last year she was used on the road.

The car was restored by Malcolm and his father between 2012 and 2014. We believe that she was originally blue, which was then changed to white by a previous owner, then red by my father, and finally green during our restoration! Engine capacity was increased to 2138cc during the rebuild.

The car was exported to Melbourne in September 2016."
