Project Details:

A summary of work & modifications are as follows:

  • Escort Rack & Pinion Steering 
  • Bosch Alternator  
  • High Torque Starter Motor
  • Hydraulic Brake Booster
  • Aluminium Radiator (Roadster Factory) c/w Thermo Fan
  • New Battery
  • Upgraded fuse box (10 Fuses) Relay Bank x 7
  • Carburettor Reconditioned (Kit H6)
  • Speedo, Rev counter, small gauges rebuilt by North West Instruments 
  • Aluminium Petrol Tank, New Copper Lines
  • All Chrome New
  • Extractors, new exhaust & Muffler
  • Stainless Steel Hardware throughout 
  • Chassis Restored, garnet blasted, Powder Coated black. Front suspension rebuilt using:
    • Polyurethane Bushes, New Wheel Bearings, Ball Joints etc 
    • New Telescopic Dampers fitted.
    • Rear Suspension assembled using Polyurethane Bushings at the rear leaf Spring Hangers. 
    • New Spring Eye Bushes as original fitted to the front of Leaf Spring
  • Factory Steel Hardtop c/w rear window, Rubbers & Cantrails
  • Front Disk Brakes using EBC Grooved Disk Brake Rotors, Green Stuff Pads,
    • S/Steel Sleeved TR 3 Calipers
    • Rear Drums have been skimmed, new Wheel Cylinders fitted.
    • All other Components have been glass bead blasted & reconditioned .
    • New seals have been fitted to rear axle & Differential flushed & checked.
  • Full Restoration of all Body Shell Sheet Metal. Garnet blasted to bare steel, painted in Ford Probe Passion Red. code 22K Ford Glasurit. No plastic fillers used. Inner guards & underside body have received stone chip protection layer.
  • Full Carpet set in Carton (Roadster Factory)
  • Complete Cabin Fit out, Vinyl & Leather combination, in carton (Roadster Factory)
  • Glove Box c/w hinged door & all fittings.
  • Mazda MX5 Seats x2
  • TR 3 Rear Axle, Differential 
  • Side Screens (require Rebuild)
  • Motor details.  
    • Bored to 87 mm
    • Head has new guides & valve seats, seals for unleaded petrol.
    • New timing chain & seals
    • Motor has done 5-6 thousand Kilometres 
  • Gearbox details.  All new bearings & seals etc
    • New Layshaft
    • New synchro rings
    • Overdrive rebuilt
