Manufactured:         Wednesday 4th April 1956 after 2pm.

This TR was first registered 31/10/1956 in Singapore. It fell under Singapore’s Certificate of Entitlement legislation 1/6/1981 and was garaged & not driven from 1981 until 1991.

It was purchased by an expat Australian and driven in Singapore until he was transferred to the UK in 1997 where it continued to be driven until 2001. The car participated in the AXA 2000 Classic, Brooklands to Millbrook.

It was imported to Australia early 2001. No known modifications have been made except a supplementary electric fan. It currently has no overdrive as per original spec.

Ian purchased the car on 25 th September 2004. After roadworthy work was done by the Healey factory it was re-registered with Vic plates (of October 1956 vintage). Ian plans to drive and enjoy the car and in 2005 decide what my restoration plan will be.
