This was a run organised by the Sapphire Coast Chapter of the TR Register (NSW). We gained permission from the organisers to participate in the Classic Car display section. Perhaps it was lucky that we went ... as only 2 other cars and one (Triumph Thunderbird) motorcycle were on display. There were stacks of stalls and many of them food oriented with OYSTERS featuring prominently. The attendance was great for an isolated part of the state and we had members and guests from Nowra, Yerrinbool, Moruya, Merimbula, Wallaga Lake Heights, Wallagoot and Kalaru. My photos don't show the crowds, as we arrived well before the opening to get a good spot - which we did. It was great to have new members Stuart & Liz Baillie attending in their beautiful Honda S2000 which was standing in for the yet to be finished TR2. As a modern classic, it attracted as much attention as the TRs. It was also good to get a local TR6 by invitation, owned by Carol and Peter Taylor from Wallaga Lake. Also we hope that another local, Bevan with his Healey 100/6 will be well enough to join us on the next run.

This is most of the mob shortly after arrival - L to R are Presidents:
Joan Fletcher, Cherryle Watters, Lesley and Terry Goodall, with New Member Stuart Baillie and Liz to the rear,
Bob Watters, Peter Taylor (TR6), Mal Munro, Ian and Susie Wall.
Susie Wall is with Mal Munro and his walking Bear
(no... wait a minute, it's a dog!)
L to R: Walls' TR3A, Goodalls' TR3B, Baillies' Honda S2000, Watters' TR3, Taylors' TR6 and Fletchers' "Bluey"
We wandered across to the nearby QUARTERDECK Restaurant right on the water on Riverside Drive.
This will be a venue for future runs as the food was great and mine host and staff,
very obliging:
In this photo we have Carol Taylor just past Mal,
Stuart and Liz Ballie at the far end, then Peter Taylor - the rest as above.
Open it and they will come.
